Here at Shortcut to Ketosis I have been following a keto lifestyle for years now and I have tried and tested just about every keto supplement on the market. I have also learned a lot more about the keto diet than I ever thought I would.

Keto is a change in lifestyle, rather than just a diet plan. I feel healthier, stronger and look great. And, best of all, I’ve come to the realization that dieting really does not have to be hard work.

I found a shortcut in the using the best keto supplements the market can offer. Today, I’ll talk to you everything I know and personally experienced when using KetoForce – one of the most popular keto supplements out there.

What is KetoForce?

KetoForce is a ketone salt found in sodium and potassium. It is an exogenous ketone in its most natural form. It is a well-known keto supplement that is formulated to help start and sustain a ketosis and make it easier to follow your keto diet.

What’s in KetoForce?

KetoForce is mainly composed of beta-hydroxybutyric acid (BHB). It also contains water and sodium hydroxide or citric acid and significant amounts of Sodium and Potassium.

What are the benefits of these ingredients?

There is not a lot to say about the ingredients because there are not that many ingredients involved. The supplement comprises mainly of BHB salt. BHB salt is essentially a compound containing sodium and potassium bonded with BHB.

Once the salt is ingested, the bond dissolves and the body is able to use the potassium, sodium and BHB in a very efficient manner. BHB on its own is difficult for the body to absorb. Mixing it with sodium, potassium or calcium makes it more bioavailable.

Most people know what the benefits of BHB are. It is a ketone body that helps the cells in the body generate energy from fat. When we switch to a low-carb diet, we are depriving the body of the glucose that it prefers to use for fuel.

The BHB helps by providing the body with an alternative for sugar, and helps the brain to function normally during the switch-over.

The liver is also able to produce BHB but only starts to release it when fat is being burned. Those starting out with keto battle to get to this stage because the body must first adjust to using fat rather than glucose as a fuel source.

Our body needs some help and supplements, such as KetoForce, can help provide the boost you need.

What are the benefits we can get from taking in exogenous ketones?

Weight Loss: Since it acts as a ketone, it helps the body reach a state of ketosis much faster. As a result, your body will become a fat-burning machine.

Appetite Suppression: Carbs are easy sources of energy but they don’t provide long lasting energy. It won’t be long before you are reaching for that sugary snack again to refuel yourself. Fats, on the other hand, don’t provide the spike of energy but do provide energy that is more long-lasting. You will feel fuller for longer and be able to eat less naturally.

Better Athletic Performance: Energy from fats is longer lasting and stronger than the energy produced by carbs. Exogenous ketones help the body reach an acute ketosis that can last for hours, making it possible to improve athletic performance and stamina.

Improved Cognitive Energy: BHB is an excellent food for the brain since it is a more efficient energy source than glucose.

Anti-carcinogenic properties: Surprise, surprise! It has been scientifically proven that cancer cells are not able to use exogenous ketones to use as fuel. Cancer cells that are able to burn through our cells normally, find it harder to contaminate ketone-fed cells.

Neuroprotection: Normally, our bodies and brain rely on glucose as a source of energy, but exogenous ketones supply the body with longer-lasting energy and help to prevent the age-related deterioration of neurons. This, in turn, helps to stave off Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases.

Anti-inflammatory: Simply put, BHB helps inhibit proteins that cause inflammation.

Maximum use of Oxygen: During exercise, our bodies can deplete their oxygen supply, reducing the amount of oxygen available to the brain. KetoForce helps to reduce the amount of oxygen consumed and prevent oxygen depletion.

How does KetoForce Taste?

Honestly? Quite horrible. You should never take this on its own because it is very alkaline.

Also, if taken on its own, you risk an upset stomach. KetoForce recommends mixing it with acidic drinks such as lemon, lime or grapefruit juice or something similar.

How to take KetoForce?

The drink does not have a separate measuring cap but the bottle cap performs the same function. The actual dosage depends on what stage you are at in your keto diet.

The starting dose is normally three capfuls. This is continued until you have become keto-adapted like I am. Once that happens, you can drop your dosage to a capful a day.

I have to admit, using the bottle cap is not the best solution. I find that, no matter how careful I am, I always make some mess. The other thing that concerns me is that I’m not always sure that I am filling the cap to the correct level.

One capful is supposed to be 10CC or 10ml so my solution was to buy a baby oral medicine syringe to measure the dose accurately. It’s a great way to ensure that I get the dose right and that I don’t have to worry about messes to clean up or wastage.

NOTE: Baby oral syringes are pretty inexpensive. You can also buy a standard 10CC or 15CC syringe and take the needle out.

KetoForce strongly advises against taking more than three capfuls a day. And overdose of ketones can result in serious GI distress and can be very damaging to your health overall.

In addition, you are risking severe liver damage because it is supposed to produce endogenous ketones. If you are taking in too many exogenous ketones, you could end up limiting liver function.

Are there things I should avoid while taking KetoForce?

Of course, as with anything in life, you do need to take care of your health. Before you start any keto diet, you need to consult your medical practitioner. They will tell you if the diet will be a good fit for you.

This is also especially important if you take medication on a regular basis, especially if you have diabetes. The keto diet will have a significant effect on your blood sugar levels and so you may not need to take as much medication. Your medical practitioner will have to monitor you and advise you here.

If you want to take the keto supplement, there are some adjustments that will need to be made. One such adjustment is a strict limit on the amount of alcohol you can consume.

The health of your GI tract should also be taken into consideration. Keto supplements hit the gastric tract hard and can cause upsets. If you have ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease or if you are taking medication for the GI Tract such as Axid, Nexium, Pepcid, etc. you need to consult your doctor before trying the supplement.

Keto supplements are not recommended for anyone already suffering with problems in their gastric tract. It can only exacerbate matters.

Is there a best time to take KetoForce?

Yes, there is. KetoForce is probably one of the most efficient keto supplements for keto beginners. It helps the body adjust to the changes in metabolic processes, and it helps the body adapt to a keto lifestyle.

For keto-adapted persons, one capful a day is enough. I often use it right before my workout as an energy booster. I take it about 15 to 20 minutes before working out and the energy boost lasts as long as three hours.

If I feel that I am in need of an energy boost, I will take it twice a day. (Just not too close to bedtime.)

What are the side-effects of KetoForce?

Side-effects differ from one person to the next and some of them are not so pleasant. For me, the bad breath was the absolute worst. Here are the side-effects you might experience:

  • Halitosis or Bad Breath: That horrible breath is just really a downside of a keto diet. It is a side-effect of ketosis and it is not pleasant at all. I personally cannot make it through the day without brushing my teeth and tongue many times a day or loading up on mints.
  • Possible GI Disturbance. Keto diets do take their toll and the GI tract will generally get the worst of it. However, not everyone will experience upsets in this area. The worst I’ve experienced in this area is a bit of gas.
  • Low Blood Sugar Count: Because your body is switching from glucose to fat as its primary fuel source, your blood sugar levels will naturally drop. This is actually a good thing but, if you are being treated for diabetes, it does mean monitoring your sugar levels and possibly speaking to your doctor about reducing your meds.
  • Nausea: This is also not something everyone experiences – it hasn’t been a problem for me. I do, however, know a few people who have experienced nausea when taking KetoForce. For most people, it wears off when they are used to the KetoForce.

Most people respond well to KetoForce and the side effects, if experienced, are mostly short-lived.

KetoForce Versus MCT Oil Supplements

One thing that makes KetoForce really special is that its main component is BHB salt. A lot of supplements out there use MCT Oil and these are good and well but they don’t have quite the same effect.

While MCT does help the body to reach ketosis by increasing the metabolic rate, BHB salt actually induces a state of ketosis more efficiently because it is an external source of ketones.

The big difference, however, is that BHB is much easier to digest than MCT. The body adapts better to the BHB and absorbs it better. Most supplements containing MCT Oil need to be powdered to facilitate absorption.

BHB is not only easier for the body to absorb but it also helps the body to adjust to the keto diet. It makes it easier to get over the initial changeover at the beginning and to sustain the change.

Other Useful Exogenous Ketone Products:

KetoForce is an awesome keto supplement. It’s affordable, and I can get that instant boost of energy whenever I need it throughout the day. It helps me focus and perform better cognitively without needing to resort to stimulants and helps me to maintain peak ketosis levels.

If there is one thing I could change, I would prefer it if the formulation had a higher and more varied vitamin and mineral content. I do feel that it’s necessary to take a good multivitamin to make up for the foods I no longer eat and it would be great if KetoForce could fall under this category as well.

ould fall under this category as well.
